This diet is suitable for people who are generally in good health and disease free. It is based on a predominance of protein-rich and high-fibre foods (mainly vegetables). Sugar-rich and starch-rich foods are less predominant than the usual allowances recommended by most food authorities, as these foods generally initiate high insulin production and encourage the development of insulin resistance.
Please note that this diet may not be suitable for those who are OVERWEIGHT or who have problems with FOOD ALLERGIES, CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES, INSULIN RESISTANCE &/or DIABETES or other CHRONIC DISORDERS.
Please discuss your plans and options with your health care practitioner before you consider such a dietary regime.
